Wallaby Track has developed the Tray Cage Kit which is the ultimate security solution for utes fitted with a genuine heavy duty OEM steel or alloy factory tray. Keeping your gear locked up and protected while enabling full access to the tray, the Tray Cage Kit is easily removable and keeps your gear covered and protected from the elements.

Frame & Construction

• Black powder coated heavy duty RHS steel frame
• 150kg travelling capacity, 300kg stationary
• Roof top tent mounts directly on top — universal RTT mounting kit supplied free with every kit
• Frame bolts to the tray floor with a rubber seal underneath the frame.
• No drilling on the outside of the tray — canvas attaches all the way around the frame using heavy duty velcro for a neat appearance with no elastic loops or buttons

 

Panels & Locks

• 3mm hexagonal gas strut lift aluminium mill finish doors
• 2mm hexagonal aluminium mill finish roof panel
• 6 keyed alike drop T locks

 

Canvas

• Heavy duty 16oz tearstop canvas
• 100% waterproof
• 98% dustproof when pressure vents are purchased as part of the canopy

Assembly

• Arrives boxed, approximately 1.5 hours to complete
• 2 people capable of lifting 45kg each required
• Tools needed: cordless drill, 4mm and 10mm steel drill bit, allen key set, 17mm and 13mm spanner/shifter, Phillips head screwdriver, pop rivet gun
• Full photo instructions included
• Anyone comfortable with flat pack products and basic tools can complete this installation — get in touch before purchasing if unsure and we’ll walk you through what’s involved

 

Notes

• Suits genuine heavy duty OEM steel and alloy factory trays with 63mm round headboard only — will not fit other headboard shapes or aftermarket tray brands
• Tray drop sides and any rear bar, boxes or other fittings must be removed before fitting
• Not suitable for trays with an under tray factory headboard fitted from new — contact us if unsure
• Please check your tray is identical to the photos in the gallery before ordering
